"The answer to the problem of anger is spirituality, not psychology"
"The mind forever recycles past misery and, when this is not enough, precycles feared future misery." - Dr. Majid Ali
Love is a “scary beautiful” thing
“Dues aren’t paid, past tense. Dues get paid, each and every day. The only real measure of your value is the tangible contribution you make on a daily basis.”-Jeff Haden
I don’t understand people who expect life to be easy and smooth sailing. It was never that way and won’t ever be. If you decide to postpone truly living until things are all good you will be waiting forever. If you want something, pursue it. If there is a change you would like to see happen in your life, execute the steps necessary to make it happen. Striving toward these things doesn’t guarantee that they will pan out how you would like them to but it certainly ensures that you will see some positive changes in your life. Stop waiting for that big break, that oh-so-important phone call or that strike of luck and go and make something happen.
I talked myself out of greatness before. I didn’t know it at the time because it hid under the words “what if”, “I can’t”, “I’ll do it next time for sure”. But If I could talk myself out of something I can talk myself into something. So I’m replacing the “what ifs” with “so be it” and the “I can’ts” with “damn sure I can” and the “ill do it next time” with “it’s done”. Feeling: Bold.
